And I will be participating. What is NaNoWriMo? It is a delightful way to shorten “National Novel Writing Month,” and if you’d like to know more about it, I’d recommend visiting their page. It’s great fun and it’s a good way to keep practicing with that writing!
I participated in NaNoWriMo last year, and I was able to achieve the word count goal of 50,000 words with a few days left in November to spare. The result was the first novel in what I hope will become a series, Fairy Tales: Bowman of Wellwood. This year, I will be writing the sequel to Bowman, a story titled Fairy Tales: Teven of Nowhere.
I fully intend to update this blog periodically about my progress on Teven and I may, on occasion, include quotes or excerpts I’m particularly proud of.
If you are participating in NaNo too, best of luck, fellow writers! You can do it!
