I’m not actually done for the night, but I wanted to make a post for it before it got too late and I forgot. I had a migraine this afternoon, which did delay getting started, but I’m not worried about not making par. Elias and Eral have found an actual calm moment to more properly start to Be Friends.
Excerpt:
Elias set to work getting the fire going, and then looked up at Eral again, who was watching curiously despite himself. “Hey, what are the chances you feel like grabbing some acorns or something to add a little flavor to the food? I’ve got some spices but hey, there could be something out here, right?”
Eral blinked. “Uh. Okay,” he said. It was really hard to stay consistently angry at Elias when he was being reasonable.
